- Hearing screening clinics in 01-03 for preschool children.
- Mel Osborne Fellow (2000) for developing Precious Minds video to encourage early literacy. secured $150,000 grants, distributed 300,000 videos, raised $150,000 for the club.

- Sam- Uttra led , key advocacy group to persuade Parliament to declare November 20th, the National Childs Day in Canada on Mar 19/1993.
- Launched Children’s Community day in Ottawa for 15,000 parents and children for enjoyment and information on resources available, 91-93
- Attended 10 KI and District conventions, attended Board Meetings, Forums Training session. Ongoing.
- Encouraged "working together – Socializing together" theme for fellowship, socializing and achieving more together. Camp Smitty, Mega Meetings, etc..

- Eldest daughter passed away at age 39 after surviving a massive car accident and becoming paralyzed at the age of 24 during her 2nd bachelors degree.
